JAD Sessions

Wow. I hadn’t heard the term in a long time. Then, I came across this:

http://www.umsl.edu/~sauter/analysis/JAD.html

It is a nice little writeup of JAD (Joint Application Development). IBM has been doing it since 1980.

Of course, the site looks about as old as the internet itself.

25 years of an iterative SDLC has manifested into so many methodologies and approaches that it moggles the bind.

I feel compelled to post something about RUP. IBM is a cool group of people. Or at least, they produce good stuff.

Coming soon… RUP Basics.

And you thought The Dukes of Hazard was full of cliffhangers!

I was just JADding the other day, actually. A Customer asked if my JADding skills were on par with the great JADders of our time. I explained that while JADation is indeed a skill of the ages, it is not a verb.

Just kidding. That never happened.

Oh boy. I should write comedy instead of these things.

I haven’t heard the term in years. The website you link to looks older than I am :)
